Luh Maza has worked for over 20 years as a screenwriter, director, producer, and actress in theater, film/TV, and advertising. As an actress, she appeared in the feature film Ó Paí, Ó 2 (2024), the HBO Max series Da Ponte Pra Lá (2024), the campaign Harmonização Poderosa (Johnnie Walker & Trace, 2022), and the stage production Cabaret Transperipatético (Os Satyros, 2018).
She made her debut as a playwright and director with Boi da Cara Preta (2004) and Três T3mpos (2005), and has since created works such as A Memória dos Meninos (2008), Kiwi (2016 – Aplauso Brasil Award), and Carne Viva (Portugal, 2015 / Brazil, 2025). Her plays have been published in Brazil and Portugal and were nominated for the Jabuti Prize for Literature.
Since 2018, she has written for television, including Sessão de Terapia (2019), nominated for Best Screenwriter at the ABRA Awards; Os Quatro da Candelária (Netflix, 2024), winner of Best Drama Series at the ABRA Awards; and De Volta Aos 15 (Netflix, 2022/23). She is also screenwriter and director of Da Ponte Pra Lá, nominated for the Premios PRODU.
In film, she wrote, directed, and served as associate producer on the feature Insubmissas (2024), which premiered at the Festival do Rio.
In advertising, she created and directed branded content films such as Passos Para Visibilidade (Mercado Livre, 2022) and Eu Faço História com Orgulho (Época Cosméticos, 2024), the first production by her own company, Maza Filmes
