Dennys Queiroz is a screenwriter, director, and assistant across various areas of the audiovisual industry. He currently works as a development assistant at Cinefilm, where he is involved in project prospecting, analysis, internal development monitoring, and research. He also serves as production secretary at the Associação Paulista de Cineastas (APACI). Previously, Dennys was a development assistant at Chatrone, where he also worked as a screenwriter and script assistant. His credits include writing promotional pieces for the documentary series “SEGURA ESSA POSE” (2024, Globoplay), screenwriting for the animated series “OS PEQUENOS CRONONAUTAS” (Bactéria Filmes), and working as a script assistant on the comedy show “LIKE DE MILHÕES” (2022, Multishow) and on a confidential comedy series for a major streaming platform. He also served as assistant director for the Fade to Black Festival and was a consultant for Kinolab, Kinoforum’s audiovisual lab. Dennys was selected for the Globo/FLUP Laboratory of Black and Indigenous Narratives (2021). A graduate in Audiovisual Studies from USP, he develops original projects across a range of genres and formats.
