Adolpho Knauth is the showrunner and director of the series Até Onde Ele Vai, available on UNIVER VIDEO, and currently directs Paul, the Apostle, airing simultaneously on Disney+, @UniverVideo, and Record TV.
He directed, co-wrote, and produced the feature film Together Forever, an adaptation of Walcyr Carrasco’s novel, starring Flávio Tolezani, Marcelo Serrado, Rafael Zulu, Ernani Moraes, and Carlos Vereza.
He created and directed the teen musical series Use Your Voice (HBO Max, 2023), which received three PRODU Awards nominations, as well as the musical special Nossa Voz.
Knauth is also the writer, director, and producer of the feature Ups and Downs (Prime Box Brazil). He directed The Best Summer of Our Lives, which premiered in 350 theaters and is now available on Prime Video; the film was nominated for the Brazilian Academy Awards (Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro). He also worked as assistant director on Lulli (Netflix).
His work includes directing the series Behind the Music (Gloob/YouTube) and the children’s program Dó-Ré Mundo (Zoo Moo/international streaming platforms), available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. He wrote and directed the music documentary Já Ouvi Falar (Music Box Brazil) and served as assistant director on Escrava Mãe and Na Mira do Crime (Record TV / FOX / FX).
Knauth has directed ad campaigns for brands such as L’Oréal, Red Bull, Natura, and Coca-Cola, and has helmed music videos for artists including Emicida, Thalia, and Daniel.
He is currently developing new projects for film and streaming platforms.
